SolarUA – SoliTek – Ernst Schweizer Seminar

SolarUA organized the first Ukrainian a seminar on Building Integrated Solar Power Solutions (BIPV). The seminar was held with the participation of SoliTek Cells&Modules – a leading European manufacturer of glass/glass solar modules and BIPV products. Also, a representative of the Swiss company Ernst Schweizer AG, a manufacturer of mounting systems for photovoltaic modules, took part in the seminar.

The main topic of the seminar is the current state and development prospects of Building-Integrated PV – solar modules integrated into the structure of buildings. The representative of the Lithuanian company SoliTek introduced the audience to the products manufactured by this company at its own factory in Vilnius. The main focus of the presentation was on ready-made solutions for roofs of houses, consisting of photovoltaic modules and a unified installation kit – the Solrif system. The main advantage of this system is the possibility of quick and high-quality installation of a photovoltaic station. In addition, the guest from Lithuania spoke about the range of PV modules that their company produces.

In the second part of the seminar, a representative of the SolarUA spoke about new, promising opportunities for installing solar power stations – installation on the facades of buildings. The technical possibilities and economic advantages of this method of installing solar panels were announced.

In the final part of the event, a presentation of products for the installation of solar panels from Ernst Schweizer AG was held. Including – complex systems “west/east” designed for installation on flat roofs with gravel or bitumen coating.

The BIPV is one of the most promising in the portfolio of Avenston. We pay great attention to solar power plants integrated into the construction of buildings and structures. Design and installation of BIPV systems is one of Avenston’s services in the solar energy segment.
