VILKHOVETS Solar BIPV Power Plant

As part of a strategic partnership with SoliTek (Lithuania), the first project to install an integrated BIPV solution based on Solrif technology was implemented in 2017. The capacity of the project, which was built in the Kiev region, was 132 kW, which is a unique enough case for such projects. Our specialists were the developers of the design documentation for this rooftop solar power plant, and the group companies were the suppliers of basic equipment (BIPV solar panels, network inverters, anchorage systems), including logistics and customs clearance.

Project details:

  • Total power – 132 kWp
  • Status – construction completed
  • Type of PV power plant – on-grid
  • Construction completion date – 2017
  • Solar module technology is BIPV, multi-Si
  • The manufacturer of solar modules – SoliTek
  • Support type – BIPV
  • Location of object – Kyiv region

Our services:

  • Design documentation;
  • Purchase and supply of equipment, materials and components (solar panels, on-grid inverters, mounting systems);
  • Technical consulting.

Solar power plants are one of the key competencies for companies belonging to the Avenston group. We provide any necessary services for solar energy projects, starting from the support of the development stage to maintenance of already built photovoltaic power plants or systems. All the main stages of the implementation of such projects are carried out by us independently or with the involvement of selected partners. In the second case, all key processes are managed and controlled by Avenston’s in-house project managers. Our portfolio includes a large number of designed and built industrial solar PV power plants, home solar power plants, as well as other projects in related areas.

Solar forecasting in Ukraine

Weather systems result in strong variability in the available solar radiation across the day. This means that solar plant power output is impacted, with strong changes in energy generation across the day. As Ukraine adds more solar energy to its electricity grid, it is becoming important to predict these changes in energy generation from hours to days ahead.
