Komyshuvate-2 Solar Power Plant is a ground-mounted photovoltaic project located in the Kirovohrad region of Ukraine. The project represents the second phase of the Komyshuvate solar power plant and was implemented by Avenston under a turnkey EPC contract.
The solar power plant occupies approximately 6 hectares and has an installed capacity of 3.2 MWp. Commissioned in 2019, the project demonstrates the practical application of solar energy technologies in the agricultural sector and commercial electricity generation.

Avenston participated in the implementation of the project across multiple stages, including:
The project required coordination among equipment suppliers, contractors, grid operators, and project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery within the planned schedule.
Komyshuvate-2 demonstrates the growing adoption of renewable energy technologies within the agricultural sector in Ukraine. The project demonstrates the growing adoption of renewable energy technologies within Ukraine’s agricultural sector and highlights the role of solar energy in supporting long-term energy infrastructure investments.
The project also illustrates Avenston’s experience in delivering small and medium-scale commercial solar power plants, including engineering, procurement, construction, grid connection, and commissioning activities.
The solar power plant utilizes fixed-tilt mounting structures installed on screw-pile foundations, reducing construction complexity and minimizing impact on the site. The project incorporates proven photovoltaic technologies designed for reliable long-term operation under local climatic conditions.
The solar power plant contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing the share of renewable energy in Ukraine’s electricity generation mix.
