Solar Agro Conference 2025

The Agro Ukraine Summit and Solar Agro Conference, organised by the Solar Energy Association of Ukraine, was attended. The high level of participation and expert panel discussions, along with the interesting insights gained during the conference, confirmed the correctness of the chosen business strategy. The event took place as part of the Agro Ukraine Summit, the country’s largest international agro-exhibition, bringing together over 2,500 CEOs and agricultural business owners from across Ukraine.

The discussion focused on the national strategy for the development of agrovoltaics, encompassing legislative initiatives, the economics of implementing solar power plants on farms, and an analysis of the European experience and opportunities for farmers within the context of the energy transition. Available financial tools for agribusinesses, including UNDP grant programs, interest rate compensation mechanisms from the Decarbonization Fund, preferential loans for solar PV installations, and the economic feasibility of investing in solar energy in the agricultural sector, were also discussed during the event.
