Presentation of new inverters KACO new energy

On May 19, Avenston held a webinar for its employees in conjunction with the German manufacturer of inverters KACO new energy. New inverter models for photovoltaic installations and energy storage systems and the rules for their operation, features, and advantages were presented.

KACO new energy implements a huge number of international projects around the world. The history of the company dates back to 1914 when the factory for the motor seals production in Heilbronn city was founded. In 1950, the factory began to produce electromechanical choppers, the predecessors of modern inverters.

KACO new energy conducts continuous research and development to improve its equipment capabilities to maintain the status of one of the leading inverter manufacturers in the world. Since the end of April 2019, the company is a subsidiary of Siemens AG.

Features of KACO blueplanet inverters:

  • compact, 137.5 KVA max output power weighing less then 80 kg;
  • efficiency >99.2%;
  • functional IP66/NEMA 4X aluminum outdoor housing, OD+ Resilient against salt air corrosion;
  • 50% Overloading possible – Max DC power 187.5 kW;
  • optimum cost-efficiency with its “reduce to the max.” concept;
  • SiC based development – High Power Density;
  • implementation of ripple control signals;
  • adjustable power factor;
  • intelligent, active cooling system;
  • derating only at temperatures above 50 °C;
  • remote access, update and Maintenanceа;
  • larger string can be designed thanks to 1500 V technology;
  • Larger DC and AC cables up to 2*240 mm² possible;
  • and more.

The webinar held in the online presentation format and aimed at increasing the awareness of company employees in modern technologies used in the energy industry.
