Dmytro Lukomskyi is a Ukrainian entrepreneur, Founder and CEO of Avenston, and renewable energy investor. He has worked in the renewable energy sector since 2001.

His experience spans the entire renewable energy value chain—from solar manufacturing and engineering to project development, project finance, M&A, asset management, entrepreneurship, and international investment partnerships.

Throughout his career, he has contributed to more than 610 MW of renewable energy projects, covering project development, engineering, EPC, project finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and asset management. This multidisciplinary background has given him a practical understanding of every stage of the project lifecycle — from early-stage development and engineering to construction, commissioning, asset management, and investment transactions.

In 2018, Dmytro founded Avenston, which became his entrepreneurial and operating platform for creating, launching, and scaling businesses, implementing renewable energy projects, and building strategic partnerships.

As Ukraine’s energy sector continues its transition toward decentralised generation and modern energy infrastructure, Dmytro Lukomskyi collaborates with developers, investors, and infrastructure funds entering or expanding in Ukraine, helping them establish local partnerships, build local operating platforms, and advance the development and implementation of utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
